Practice Arabic Reading Techniques for long words (4+ Letters)
The Goal of this assignment is make the students practice reading arabic (Quranic) words in Syllables instead of letter by letter , and help him/her read long word more fluently.
Prerequisites:
- Student should know ALL the arabic letters with different shapes (Beginning , Middle , End).
- Student Should be able to identify quickly if the vowel letter should be pronounced with Haraka or as Vowel/Madd (elongation)
Technique
The Techniques we are following is simple, The Student need to break the words into Syllables , a syllable can be minimum 2 letters and Max 4 letters .
- Identify all letters that have Sukoon on it (Saakin Letters)
- Identify the Shadda of any kind
- Identify the Madd (Elongation) letters
- Break the word into Syllables based on above 3 points .
- practice reading the Syllables repeatedly until develop a fluency ****

Above word was broken into 3 syllables based on 2 Madd letters . the student now can practice reading the Syllables repeatedly until develop a fluency .
